The National Rail Museum showcases the 166 years heritage of the Indian Railway. Sprawling across over 11 acres of land, the extensive outdoor gallery houses a variety of steam, diesel and electric locomotives along with a collection of royal saloons, wagons, carriages, armoured trains, rail cars and a turntable. Inside the Indoor gallery, interactive displays and models are displayed. The rail museum offers train rides, 3D virtual coach rides, diesel and steam simulators, and a recently built rail restaurant.
