An exhibition titled ‘Spatial’ runs from February 5 to March 4 at Gallery Art Motif, Delhi. The show features works by three contemporary artists: Kishor Shinde, Nidhi Khurana and Shalini S Vichitra.
Kishor Shinde’s heavily textured and layered canvases are free spirited application of paint laden with an emotive context. Shalina S Vichitra’s work embodies an interaction of natural and man-made spaces intertwining aspects of geography, architecture, landscape and cartography. Maps and the idea of mapping has been central to the works of Nidhi Khurana. She uses natural dyes, 24 carat gold and silver, handmade paper and silk to document her experience of the world.
