The exhibition is a manifestation of the artist’s inner dialogues during the lockdown phase in watercolours and etchings. The unprecedented hardship of people around him during the lockdown, the helplessness, the surfeit of bad news coming from all sides compared to his relatively privileged existence with a roof above his head and food on his plate. As such all 52 paintings are, in some sense, soliloquies of its own. The show is open from February 24 – April 15, 2023.
