Manjari Sharma is an architect and artist, who believes that life, is her canvas. Curious and enthusiastic, her interests have led her to explore creativity as a way of life. She has taught Art and Design and conducted workshops at School of Planning and Architecture, PEARL Institute of Fashion Design, National Institute of Fashion Design and the Indian Institute of Technology. She has worked on Art as Therapy for more than 12 years, conducting sessions called “Creativity to Consciousness”, on self-exploration and healing through Art. She has worked with craftsmen for many years and had her own product range in Ceramics, Paper Mache and Silver Jewelry. She is the founder of LSD-Learn Something Different, a creative studio committed to Art education, and co-learning through pottery classes, enamel studio, events, talks and workshops. Although she has traveled many paths, they have all converged into her undying passion for ceramics. In April, 2017, she exhibited her solo sculpture exhibition titled “Sculptour” by Manjari Sharma at Lalit Kala Akedmi, New Delhi after along gap of 10 years. The successful show was curated by Uma Nair featuring a series of sculptural heads, bowls, platters, jars, curious human figures and a few teapots.
