New Delhi, India – May 14, 2024, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), the pioneering institution
dedicated to democratising art access, proudly announces a groundbreaking exhibition hosted in an
unexpected locale – the skybridge connecting Nexus Select CITYWALK and DLF South Court Mall. This
innovative endeavor represents a significant milestone in KNMA’s ongoing commitment to bringing art
directly to diverse audiences seeking immersive cultural experiences.
“While we regularly collaborate with museums and cultural institutions worldwide, this endeavor marks
a new milestone, bringing art directly to spaces frequented by diverse audiences seeking novel leisure
experiences,” says Kiran Nadar, Founder and chairperson, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. From its
inception, KNMA has championed the mission of making art an integral part of everyday life. “Our
journey began with a commitment to making art accessible to all,” adds Nadar. “Today, we’re not just
talking about bridging the gap; we’re building a tangible art bridge to our museum. Our goal is to inspire
audiences to explore art as a transformative experience, inviting them to immerse themselves in its
captivating depths.”

The exhibition, titled “A Bollywood Retro,” pays homage to the iconic cultural phenomenon of Bollywood
through the artistry of esteemed photographer JH Thakker. Renowned for his mastery of light and
shadow, Thakker’s evocative black-and-white photographs immortalize the legendary film stars of
yesteryears, evoking a sense of nostalgia and reverence. Complementing these striking images are
vintage film posters, resplendent with bold typography and cinematic allure, promising to transport
viewers into the heart of classic narratives, characters, and settings.
“At Nexus Select CITYWALK, we greatly encourage art displays in public spaces that spark creativity. It
has been a fulfilling experience to collaborate with KNMA to transform this skybridge into a cultural
haven with the timeless beauty of Bollywood. We look forward to more such initiatives which
democratize art and bring art closer to the community. ” said, Arjun Sharma, Director, Nexus Select
Malls.

“As the President of the South Court Condominium Association, I’m thrilled about the Art Passage launch.
Thanks to KNMA, this initiative brings a fresh perspective, enriching the mall experience for all our
visitors. We extend our sincerest gratitude for this transformative endeavour, set to captivate and
inspire.” adds Bhaskar Bhardwaj, Advocate, Delhi High Court
Strategically situated within the skybridge connecting Nexus Select CITYWALK and DLF South Court Mall,
