Despite being an engineer by profession, Sreedharan’s power to create came to the fore about three years ago. Up till then, the mere satisfaction of drawing sketches and caricatures remained restricted to the back pages of college registers and sometimes the notepad he used to take notes while working.
As mentioned, about three years ago, he began experimenting with colours on canvas. As his aesthetic sense began to get recognized amongst his social circle, he decided to take a leap of faith and test the waters so to say.

He primarily indulges in painting abstract which to many may be an art of vagueness, while to others provides a deep sense of peace.
Over the course of time Sreedharan has steadily moved into a niche area in the world of art called geometric abstraction. Acccording to The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History), this style is based on the use of simple geometric forms placed in non-illusionistic space and combined into non-objective compositions.
Sreedharan is one of the few artists in India who has addressed his obsession with symmetry and structure in the form of geometric abstraction and aims to delve deeper into this space.
